About
Hello, my name is Dhaval Vasveliya and I am an IT Developer with a passion for technology and innovation. I currently work at Canada Revenue Agency as an IT Developer, where I coordinate a small team to develop and maintain the chatbot, monitor sensitive issues, and analyze and solve complex errors to improve availability.
I am also working as a part-time professor at Algonquin College. Recently, I prepared and delivered lectures to students and conducted laboratory sessions or discussion groups. I collaborated with senior team members to fine-tune new designs, configured BACnet protocol on legacy controllers so they can easily access the latest IoT devices, and designed and developed REST API and consumed via UI that interacts with IoT hardware.
I hold a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University in Ahmedabad, India.
Some of the technologies and tools I use on a daily basis include Python, C#, .NET Core, Flask, REST API, Git, JavaScript, Linux, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, Object-Oriented Programming, HTML, CSS, JSON.
